Thanks to VKM and WCF, we now get a look at TWO posters for WWE Over The Limit. One’s a normal poster while the other is a wide-type. Both feature the currentWWE Champion, The Miz. Check out both posters after the jump.
To be honest, I didn’t know that all the faces on the blue-ish poster were actually The Miz until I had a closer look. Most of the pictures look like a combination of Evan Bourne, Drew McIntyre, and Alex Riley. Riley makes sense, because he looks like a more jacked-up version of The Miz, but the others just don’t look like him! As for the wide poster, it’s nothing special, just The Miz looking like Alex Riley again (or “Miz’s NXT rookie” as some still like to call him, because they have yet to learn his name) bringing the pain to Daniel Bryan.
What I do like about these posters is the fact that they look like posters from the late 90′s and early 00′s, just like the poster for Extreme Rules. The designs are heavily influenced by posters from the final years of the Attitude Era. The multi-faced Miz poster looks like the poster for Fully Loaded 2000 featuring Stone Cold Steve Austin, whereas the wide poster reminds me of Survivor Series 2002 featuringRob Van Dam. I’ll post them here when I find the posters. For now, check out both posters for this year’s Over The Limit below.
